A peek into Karma Cafe

Alright, nothing special happened today, I worked an 8 hour shift and it was very typical...

Early in the day...

Tara: "Don't say much about this to anyone, but Scott told me he heard Jenn and Derek talking about having a keg party for the Cafeteria and Karma employees"

Liesel: "Sweet, I don't drink and don't want to go"

April: "AWESOME"

Me: "Too bad NONE of us are 21"

Kristen: "Speak for yourself, I'm 24"

Later on....

Me: "Thanks sweetie"

Tara: "Are you sick? You're being so nice lately."

Me: "Actually I think I am getting sick"

Tara: "Oh my God, if it's Leukemia I'll get you chemo. Yeah, all the Karma girls will chip in and pay for it. Right? April?"

April: "Oh, yeah, we'd get you the best chemo Natalie"

Me: "As generous as your offer to pay for my chemo therapy is, I'm really hoping that it's not Leukemia"

I love these girls.

I think I really am getting sick, I'm cold all the time and I'm sneezing a lot. Oh well, being cold lets me wear my hoodie which is nice, cuz you know, I've missed it since winter. And being sneezy gets me TLC points at work. Derek even sympathized with me today. The world might be coming to an end. Oh well. That's about all.
